The girlfriend is thinking of changing her 2008 Honda Civic (euro version) 1400cc with a new Toyota Aygo ([ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aygo]Toyota Aygo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] ).

She has been complaining the Civic is too big for her - problems parking and squeezing it down narrow streets. She has also lost confidence with the local Honda dealers and has had one or two battery problems with the Civic.

Having been impressed with my Prius and the helpfulness of the Toyota dealers she decided to go for a small Toyota. We initially looked at the Yaris which I thought she'd like, but she didn't like it. I pointed out the IQ but she hated it and hiding in the corner of the showroom she liked the look of the Aygo in blue.

Just curious what our US & Canadian members think of the Aygo which I believe isn't sold on your side of the pond. Not sure what you'd make of the 1.0 litre engine with a 0-60 time of 14 seconds, but it does have similar fuel economy to the 2003-2009 Prius and is small and nippy enough for town/city use.

Looks like a nice "city car". This vehicle is not sold in the US.
