Toyota Doe not know what prius I have?

Called Toyota to find out where I could find a user manual for the MFD to add a phone (the option was not selectable for some reason) So I provided my vin - and he said I have a base model. Found that to be odd - he had no info on that car (7yrs old did not think so) but all the links to toyota-talkchat are dead links so there is no archive of that PDF?
I found John's Site and it has some good stuff.

In the end I was able to program the phone in - just found the event bizarre...
