Just purchased Toyota extended warranty from Theresa Vonless at Acton Toyota. Got the 7/100,000 Platinum 0 deductible for $1050. My dealer wanted to charge me $1850 for the same coverage. Acton is a dealership in Maryland. Very happy with the money I saved.

no problem, i often get the two confused. i've heard good things about them from their ads on the radio. they say they are a family with all their customers. treat them with respect and as if they want to come back instead of trying to make a fortune on one sale or repair.

Thanks Lori 08 for posting this. I can't get the guy that is selling the extended warranty that supports this site to respond, so I checked with Acton and they have the same deal, plus many more options. Thanks again.

That was my problem also. I didn't get a response either. Now we all have another choice.

I've had a hard time getting a hold of some of the other people offering deals on a warranty. I came across this thread. First I filled out the application on their website, but didn't like the quote. Then I called Theresa directly and got the exact same plan and price through Theresa. Took less than five minutes.

Just bought 7 year 100,000 mile extended platinum warranty from Theresa at Acton Toyota for $1050.00. Thanks Lori for the heads up.

Thanks for the tip, Lori. I just sent a note asking for a quote before the car breaks (it just hit 37,500 miles so you know something has to be ready to fail ;) )

The warranty the dealer wanted to sell me was well over $2k so this sounds much better!

Unfortunately, you are no longer eligible for the extended warranty once you pass the 3/36 mark.

If you can afford the extra $, go for the 8 year 125K or the 7 year 125K depending on how many miles you drive vs. years time.

I base this advice on personal experience after 100K.
