I just discovered this today on the Toyota Japan website: TOYOTA G’s|G’s PRIUS

Is anyone familiar with it? Looks like some very interesting goodies available.

Thanks for the info, Dylan. I can't figure why I haven't heard of this before.

Anyway, I looked at the three links you provided and it seems to me that the interest level hasn't been that high amongst the P'Chatters. Maybe it's the cost of shipping the parts over here. The parts I'm particularly interested in finding out more about are the coilovers and some of the underbody chassis stiffeners that seem to be available. Actually, I already have two of Rude person's's underbraces plus a Cusco strut tower brace and a TRD rear sway bar. What a difference they've made, but I'd like to try some coilovers to get some lowering and even better handling.

I have to admit though, the body parts like your front end are tempting as it would be great to have a Prius clothed in a way that will get people thinking differently about the Prius. The only external differences on my PiP so far are the WedSport SA15-Rs and the decals in the back window celebrating Toyota's win in last year's World Endurance Championship (see below). Yes, we are The Champions! Have you seen any mention of our WEC win on PriusChat? I've seen very little mention of motor racing here over the years, except for me banging on about it, of course! :)

As you've pointed out, we can do a lot of performance suspension upgrades without being concerned about overseas shipping costs.

As for the visible stuff like headlights, taillights, body panels, and the like, these things can only be obtained from overseas where the shipping costs tend to be about as much as the parts themselves.

My motto is, "That's the cost of awesome."

Well, I've no doubt that when you've got your new front end painted, it will look awesome indeed. Do you think maybe you'll be the first to do this mod in N. America?

Definitely not. There are a few here on the forum.

The "Angry Panda" (@RightOnTime 's project) is the first one I can think of.
    Project: Angry Panda | PriusChat

I know that @sfv41901 is working on it. There are others that I can't think of by name at the moment.

I was going to go with the full conversion, but decided to go a different route. I do have the G's sport headlight and tailights on my car, though. (y)

Looks like you have the black housing headlight version, too! Nice! Can't wait to see the end result. Our cars would've been twins if I hadn't changed my mind.

Awesome commercial! I can only wish for that car to crossover to the US!

If I win the lottery I'll get all the kit from Japan, put it on my PiP, and call it a Gazoo!

I look forward to seeing some photos when you're done with the painting.
