    Toyota Motor and Nissan Motor will join hands in a bid to save costs and create an international standard for the software that operates a car's electronic systems.

    With luck, that may be good news for aftermarket product integration in the future. I'm talking about adding proper sound systems and so on. If there's a standard for the software, there should be more modularity and replaceability of components. Here's hoping! :)
