Got a giggle today. The recent purchase of my gen4 ‘16 base. I bought it one owner dealer serviced. I previously reviewed all service records and thought wow she did a nice job.
I also own a gen3 and have never used Toyota fluids to the chagrin of many proponents of their products. Back to the the giggle
The service records on the gen4 dealer serviced vehicles performed at a REAL dealer
    1. Wynns transmission service:CVT fluid
    2. Oil additive BG:Moa 6 ozs recommended with oil change( god only knows what she paid
    3. I see a brake fluid exchange- lol it’s not identified…but I have a sneaky suspicion that it could “DEW STOPS U” dot dot dot dot (4)
4.There’s a “ac refresh” listed which I imagine is a scented freshener lovingly applied to the cabin filter or below to soften the blow of our everyday phew.
All in I see a confirmatory indicator of dealerships and brands to promote “ specialty “ fluids to consumers all the while utilizing whatever products they can sell to unsuspecting consumers.
I’m glad I used Kirkland oil and valvoline CVT fluid and I can’t remember the coolant but purty sure I got it at Walmart for my gen 3 and will continue this on the gen4 .
PS : minor plug or advertisement for seafoam and Techron: no basis in fact - I just for no apparent reason or benefit- use these products.
