Hi all: we are picking up our new Prius 2010 IV tonight and Toyota is offering a Premium Auto Care coverage that takes care of oil changes, tire rotations and 15/30/45k maintenance costs. I did not pick all the details but it seems to cost $1500, and be roughly equivalent to expenses bought one by one. Plus the articles in the forums as of early September talk about Toyota now only requiring oil changes every 10k miles, which changes the TCO quite a bit.

Has anyone come across this offering? How much was it? Did you find it worth it?

Thanks Venom. I looked a bit but did not find that specific post. This is helpful.

Has anyone bought the service from that site? Price looks good but I'm not sure how valid or equivalent it is. Also interesting to see how the offer will change when Toyota rolls out the 10k mile interval for oil changes, compared to 5k that they are still doing as of today.

Wait to see about buying it. I did, but canceled it within the 30 day window.
