While traveling on the interstate this morning, a shovel flew out of the bed of someone's truck and into the front of my Prius. We were able to brake in time, avoiding direct windshield impact, but my front bumper and hood were not so lucky. The shovel hit a white SUV & bounced off before hitting my Prius. My husband and I were the only ones to stop. This kind of stuff only happens to us! So kids, tie up your tools!! <_<

Then there's always the Camry vs. Rubber Band Ball.

Sorry to hear about that. I hate driving behind those landscaper's trucks. I had a turnbuckle fly at me once, nearly went through the windshield.

Sorry about the collision, at least no one was hurt. And the driver who lost the shovel doesn't care. Nor do the police. GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ouch... exactly the reason i avoid vehicles like that at all costs. i hate dealing with people who have a bunch of crap floating around in their truck bed at 60something mph, who knows when it'll fly out at ya?

    what's the insurance co say?

I have to second Evan on this one. You two are batting zero so far. As s**t happens in three's hold tight there's another one coming. Sorry your luck is no good. But here's hoping for You!

 BALL?!? No, that's a rubber band boulder! Dang, that can do some damage.

Sorry to hear about the shovel incident. I once ran over a bunch of tree limbs (at 50 mph) that fell out of the bed of the pickup in front of me. I thought the undercarriage was done for sure, but luckily just a few scratches around the lower part of the front bumper, in between the fog lights.

Thanks all for the good wishes. The repairs come to just under $800... $500 for us, $300 for the insurance company. Deductibles suck, by the way! <_<

The Rubber Band Ball footage is awesome!! Thanks for posting that. :)
