Toyota recalls millions of cars for fire risk, Prius not included

    It has nothing to do with the Prius, so no worries.

    And not applying grease to a switch just means that there might be an airgap spark as the switch makes contact. Not a problem except over many thousands of contacts, which a window switch might have. It will not be fluid in going down and up, it will have "detents" in it sort of.

    Has nothing to do with window speed or anything of the sort.

    Spraying the window slide channels with silicon spray will greatly improve the action of the windows. It is clean in use will not mark clothes and is safe around food preparation areas. Give it a go you can also use it on door seals (stops rubber squeaks) and also on plastics.
