    damn it's about freaking time. I wonder how much power does it have and if the sinewave is pure or modified.

    This is great.
    Interesting that it's implementation would be initiated from the results of an unfortunate disaster.

    I'd hope Toyota eventually offers this on all Prii...the official "plural" of Prius.

    But I'm kind of afraid fears of people running their engines indoors and/or potential lawsuits abroad will slow this becoming readily available.

    I hope I'm wrong.

    We all have that option with our Prius right now. See www.Priups.com , in particular
    Portable Priups: Several Examples for suggestions on different power systems you can install. I've been trying to convince the ZipCar people to offer this.
