Note to whoever is responsible for Toyota's US website:

It is really incredibly stupid and bad practice to force iPad or iPhone users into an iPad specific or mobile specific format without giving them a way to opt into the full normal format website. Please get a clue. I and I suspect most other people using these devices want the whole enchilada. There is no reason to limit the Internet experience for users of tablets in particular, but also phones. Almost every other website out there at least let's you choose (including PriusChat).

The first step is don't use Safari for the iPad. As they said in that thread, use Atomic Web Browser (it's also for the iPhone, but I'm not fond of it there - but on the iPad it RULES).
