At the back of my 2006 Prius owner manual, they give a phone number to call if you want to buy the Repair Manual for the car. Does anybody know how much it costs and if it's worth buying if I don't really plan to do any
"repairs" other than changing wiper blades and maybe charging up the 12 volt battery if needed. I would never want to touch the hybrid battery!
I do generally like to buy a shop manual when I buy a new car because it does tell you lots of interesting stuff about how the car is put together.

I understand that it's available online, but costs about $10 a day. You only pay for the time you use and it's possible to download it all in about a day.

when you say "a day", do you mean 8, 12, 16, or 24 hours of clicking?

Yes, I've heard that it takes several hours. It depends on your ability to download and what manuals you want. I understand that once you have them all, it'll take a while to get them in order.
