Since tire pressure monitoring only began getting installed in
model year '06, I wanted an alternative. It's a slightly oddball
approach, but ideally suited for instrumentation aficionados. It
will get a good long-run test next week on the way to Hybridfest.

hey hobbit, that might be 'silly' (your words), but you're no slouch on the electronics, great work! I like your schematic. where exactly did you mount the box with the LED's?

Hot Dang! That's pretty sweet. I love the total garage feel, ... My first career was structural engineering, specifically tilt-up construction. Every now and then we had problems that involved stepping away from the computer going down to the yard and just busting stuff up, rigging this, dreaming with our hands and knees instead of hands and butts (sitting at a desk). You sent me back to those days, LOL.
