I have a 2004 Prius that I had a new hybrid battery out in a couple of years ago. My Son and a friend did it to help save me some money. The car has some body damage and I have been thinking of buying another late model in better body condition. I would like to keep my 2004 and if the battery goes out of the newer one, transfer the battery from my old one to it. Is this possible ? What year model later than 2004 might be feasible ?

The HV battery in your 2004 can be interchanged with any 2004-2009 Prius.
