Someone I sold one of my Gen1s to has been told by a tech that the "transmission is leaking." Said it looks like the "seal." I've never had any problems with the transaxles on these cars. Where would it likely be leaking from? Car only has 150k miles.

It's not about the mileage, but the age of those seals. Newer seals has been reformulated; whereas as older - mostly rubber seals tend to deteriorate and harden over time. You'll have to stick your head under there to verify the leak or have that person take it to another shop to verify. If that ATF has never been changed; it'll probably look like black/brown motor oil. If that car has ever been in a front end collision; the seal may have been compromised then or during repair.
I've seen impacts that bends a rim, but the shop didn't replace the struts or wheel bearings. A few thousand miles down the road, you've got leaky struts and humming from that side.

    Good Luck....

Thank you, sir. I just talked to his tech - it's a transaxle seal. The way my buyer talked it was like something internal. This car was in a front end collision 5-7 years ago then sat for several years before I fixed it. But, it's been running for a couple of years now, maybe 10k miles put on it. Those transaxle seals are pretty straight forward to replace, just a lot of labor.
