Hybrid car owner's beware! Trees are showing affection for
environmentally friendly cars who owners want to save the planet.

North Boulder resident Amos Ames had trouble sleeping last night, and
went to his kitchen to get a snack. "It was about 1:30am when I
looked out the kitchen window. I couldn't believe my eyes. The
linden tree in my front yard was leaning over and hugging my car.
I've never seen anything like this before!", he said.

Boulder Colorado is a very environmentally friendly town. Dave Noel
is the sales manager at Boulder Toyota-Scion, where more Toyota Hybid
Prius cars are sold than anywhere else in the United States. "Ever
since gas prices started climbing, the demand has been constant,"
Noel said. Last year, 5,667 new hybrids were registered in Colorado,
according to R.L. Polk & Co., a national firm that tracks auto sales.
73% were registered to Boulder County residents.

"I like the Prius better than any car we've ever owned," said Ames,
who precisely calculates his fuel economy in the Prius at "44.95
miles per gallon." He and his wife, Helen, drive a 2006 Toyota
Prius. They switched to energy saving light bulbs last year and have
been participating in curbside recycling for more than 25 years.
Dedicated to eating healthy foods, they also compost table wastes and
raising earthworms in their organic garden.

Curious, Ames woke at 7:00 am and went out to fetch the morning
paper. His tree had apparently returned to it's upright position."I
guess I'm just going to have to park my car in the garage from now
on." he said. "I don't want a parade of gawkers driving by my house
at all hours of the night".

Now why won't this thing let me attach the pictures?
