    Hi

I have a 2008 prius and the Trip A and B odomerters keep resetting to zero as well as the clock to a different time. It has happened 3 times in the last month.

I stopped to ask a seasoned service if he knew what the problem might be and said that he had never heard
of it. I recently 3 mos ago replaced the 12v ignition battery.

    Any ideas.

    Thanks

    Greg

Maybe you got a bad battery. Try checking the voltage of the 12 volt battery with a multimeter or using the 12V check method here in the forums, I don't have a link here from my phone but try searching for 12V test method and it should lead you to it.

Also, check the tightness of the connections including the bolt to the chassis on the negative lead.

    String Universe Theory.

You sure you aren't simply phasing in and out of numerous different possible states of existence?

Do your shoes change? Like you are wearing sneakers....then step into your Prius and suddenly they are Hush Puppies?

Try to take note of what color the sky is, and/or how many moons are in the sky.

This may not be a warranty issue.

Idea # 1 - bad 12v battery OR connectors not tight
Idea #2 - bad contact at fuse that supplies 12v to clock.

Power-interruption would be my first guess.
