This site is plagued with server problems. We were down for quite a while yesterday and the night before.

I believe that Danny is looking to move to a another server.

 

Nah. There's been some hosting provider hyjinx that have caused lack of availability. It's them, not you. :lol:

This is the second more-than-24-hr crash since I joined in Sept., but there were others before. In addition, some afternoons between 1-4 pm EST I can't access PC (I have DSL), possibly because the traffic is heavy, but I'm not sure. The more veteran members seem more resigned to it. If it's a server, I don't know how common a problem that is with the traffic PC generates. That's all I can tell you as someone who's neither a newbie nor a long-term veteran.

I'm so glad PC is back up! The last couple days have been harrowing for me, trying to find other things to do to occupy my dead-time here at work. I even logged onto Priusonline.com out of desperation, to post 2 whole posts. LOL...

 

Me, too (that is, two---posts). Several PCers, apparently, subscribe to both. We need a Rickey Hirose here; he's a hoot (Sales Mgr. at Fremont Toyota near Sacramento, and apparently a Region "mover/shaker".

They're having a little impromptu "who's the best poster?" thread, and DanMan ranks highly. Boy, even I wouldn't go there. Waaaaay too many good people here, including ones who don't post all that much.

 

That C. Rickey Hirose is a hoot! What exactly is he referring to when he uses the term "PriusCentis'??? I saw it used repeatedly in posts of his.

 

Some Prius people---I've seen it on Yahoo groups---coined "Priuscenti" after "congnoscenti", "people of superior knowledge and taste" (now pretty much a term of derision rather than flattery).

Rickey's English is a little loosey-goosey. B)
