Trouble shooting question

    When I turn off my 2004 Prius it beeps at me, I noticed this a few months ago and then my car battery died, had to have it jumped and recharged. I was just wondering if anyone has encountered this issue. Thanks

    Especially if your 12V auxiliary battery is original equipment, I think that your car is telling you that you need to replace the battery.

    Pity that the MFD doesn't simply light up and say:

    "12V Aux Battery Voltage Low"

    or something similarly useful.

    The prius should have more than the word "beep" in its vocabulary.
