We have a new 2024 Prius Prime XSE Premium. Reading through the Owner's Manual on page 284 it states the conditions in which Safety Sense 3.0 should be turned off, such as when using an automatic car wash, when the vehicle is being transported on a truck, and when the vehicle is up on a rack being serviced. SS 3.0 cannot be turned off in its entirety, only the individual features, like AHB, PCS, LTA, etc. But it doesn't state under what conditions each feature should be turned off. If I take my car to the car wash which feature(s) do I need to turn off?
A side note, the Toyota Owner's Manuals are terrible. There is a lot of redundant information, it's poorly organized an there are a lot of items that are not listed in the alphabetical index in the back. For example, Lane ZChange Assistant (pg 310) and Proactive Driving Assist (pgs 320 and 6270 are not listed. They are listed under Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 on page 662, but I only looked for the individual features by title or the :Safety Sense 3.0". Who would think to look under "Toyota" Safety Sense 3.0?

I have a 2024 Non-Prime Limited AWD and the first time through a car wash was scary but the car was unscathed. In my case I guessed the Intelligent Parking Assist might be worth disabling next time. We had a bit of a dust storm a few days back and prior to going through the car wash I set Intelligent Parking Assist to OFF. That did the trick. No alerts of any kind.
