About time! wish i could have had DRCC :(

Also means the most expensive prius in the UK is now........ $42,496. Ouch. Doesn't have LKA, or remote start, or solar roof, or satellite radio (we just don't have that). You guys are pretty luck over there!

Well, we've got our own benefits here in europe.
for example: You can't get the solar roof with led-headlights in the US or can you?

Nope nor DRCC with solar roof. You can get DRCC with a solar roof in Canada though (but no LEDs)

Ouch indeed. Ours is closer to yours at Cdn$37,2xx for one fitted with DRCC, PCS, IPA, SR, Nav, Leather. No LKA, plasmacluster, LEDs/fogs or 17" alloys.

And we get the HUD as standard.

And to me the HUD is probably the best thing about the Prius. I don't think I ever look at the normal speedo.

    seeeeee :)

another standard here is the electric lumbar thing.

I would have loved the adptive cc, but in austria you only get that together with leather interior... pretty tricky.

Shhhh, our friends on the other side of the pond don't get it - full stop. It's not even an option. Probably some legal reason why they can't offer it but they allow the parking assist so I can't see why they don't allow the HUD. But then I'm not a lawyer.

No legal reason, other cars over here have HUD. Parking assist is of no value to me, I have used it a couple of times in an empty parking lot to impress my friends. I have friends who are easy to impress. :)

The LKA is of some limited value but I don't use it very often. The real useful option is the DRCC, and I imagine the PCS would be also if you had a bad wreck.

no legal reasons... probably more of a cost reason (i.e. keep the base price at US$22,000).

Note that in Japan, HUD is only available on the top model.

Nope. I know it is. I can use HSI while using the MID for the Energy Monitor or Consumption Screen. The nav function on the HUD is also quite cool and useful.
