I don't know what OTD is.

At least you live in LA where there are lots of Prii. For reference, I got my 2007 package 6 at Toyota of Santa Monica on sale for $24,500- plus taxes and everything else. I think I got a great deal. Yours doesn't sound bad if the 26,?00 is with taxes and everything.

I got my deal by checking out the sales ads in the Saturday LA Times and acting FAST. I got lucky that they had the exact car I wanted.

    Best Wishes

OTD means out of the door price at 26950. Before tax and license and all other add ons the car is $100 above invoice......how much did you pay for the total on your pkg 6? thank you

As you already know, the dealer does not have any control over the tax and license, so if they are offering you $100 over invoice, it sounds as if they have discounted the car as much as they can. If the $950 is a deal breaker for you, it may be time to look at a package #5.

I paid $26,812 out the door for my 2007 package 5 a few months ago. I felt like I got a good deal and I'm totally happy with my car. :)

niiiice....the reason I got that deal is that the manager is my best friend's brother and he's pulling some strings to sell it to me at $100 above invoice because there are less than 5 pkg. 5 prius in the L.A region and $100 above invoice is just a rip off..:p

by the way he said they got the 2008 in the dealers now and only the ones put the deposit down will get it first.

when someone says pkg.5 to me , it would make a difference if he were talking about a touring Prius or a regular Prius. This would make a difference in the price weather it was a good deal or not. Agree?? Also what other extras were added on like leather, paint sealant, undercoating ect.
