    Hi all

2014 prius v three non JBL , NAV

I upgraded my headunit and got everything to work minus the right side of my steering wheel controls (AC/ Trip) to work. The only thing ive been able to find is that pin 23 needs to be grounded. Im not exactly sure which # plug that forum was refering to as it is dead currently.

    Anyone have ideas?

Hiya I was able to solve it. I had to ground out a wire on the plug.

I believe it was connecter 35 and wire 23 that needed to be grounded

    Thanks for the help.
But the pictures not clear writing and the circuled plug is only 20 pins..
The steering control plug is 28 pins from the head unit I am installing it is the Toyota 86 touch navigation screen .. so which one of them needs to be grounded? They are 5 steering wheel control wires..

Sorry the post under that states that the highlighted plug is for a different system, on the bottom left you will see L35 or plug 35 I call it. I cut and grounded wire 23 specifically which gave me my steering wheel controls back for AC/ trip control.

Now I do not have my volume control because I opted to not buy the module.

Hopefully that explained it better. Might be different because this car is in the US. Not sure in NZ (assumed cause of name :p)
