What did you expect? The Christian right elected an Oil Tycoon to be the President of the United States of America.

Bush didn't have his election won until he started rallying about being "Pro-Life", hence, getting all the Christians (windstrings I'm looking at you) voting for him.

    AMERICA ELECTED AN OIL MAN..

Die-Bold didn't cheat. You can thank the Christian right for the current situtation we are in.

Yeah that'd be a great idea to start wars with neighboring countries.. especially considering we're smack dab in the middle of Canada and Mexico. Bush isn't too smart, but he isn't stupid enough to start a war with allies.

Because the last 5-10 times they have accused America of this they were wrong. If at first you don't succeed try try again.

I really don't see how anyone can call the oil grab a "done deal" when we are losing the war and sooner or later we're going to have to get out. President Bush is clearly willing to sacrifice another ten thousand American lives in pursuit of that oil, but those lives will have been lost to as little purpose, and as uselessly, as those already lost.

And America elected a [fill in the blank, choose from adulterer, perjurer, etc] in bill clinton :p

And if this an "oil grab" why is oil soooo expensive?

And if you are at all interested in world oil supply - read the NY Times today - great article on how the worlds supply is growing and growing even though we have used over 1 TRILLION barrels to date. Seems supply is still pretty good.
