I have all my music on a Samsung USB drive, the same one I used on previous vehicles. I'm looking at page 142 of the Multimedia manual for my 2026 PHEV. It sort of describes the function of the Random Button: Each press selects sequentially from All Tracks, Cancel Random and Current Folder. Also "described" is the icon to the right which starts out looking like two squared arrows; then a "folder (album) symbol; then something with a "2". Only once have I inadvertently gotten into a mode where every press of the forward button got me a randon tack in a random album. Usually it seems stuck playing tracks on the one album that is selected. Is there a better explanation of how to make this work better (like my old Ridgeline)?

I also have a USB drive but I haven't checked out random. I'll do it later.

You want to push the forward button and come up with a random track, instead of continuously letting the car choose which track. That way you can skip a track you don't want to listen to. I'll have to see what it does for me.
