Hi all - looking to replace my wrecked 2009 and came across an ad at a local dealer for a Toyota Certified 2008 Prius with only about 15,000 miles. Yes, works out to less than 3000 per year... Is there anything to be concerned about from the hybrid system (or otherwise) to be concerned about from a car with so little usage? I was averaging closer to 25K / year with mine, with no issues, as long as it wasn't getting up close and personal with a highway median wall ;)

p.s. carfax is clean, and it is toyota certified at dealer.

Shouldn't be a concern for the traction battery. The 12V aux battery might need to be replaced.

Not using a car normally doesn't hurt it.

Don't be afraid to buy it if the price is right. They undoubtedly want top dollar for it.
