I understand that Prius owners used to have valet parking cards showing details on how to start/stop, shift the car. Are these cards still available? I'm going to downtown Baltimore for a long weekend and it's valet parking only. I'm slightly nervous about a young kid not knowing how to operate a Prius even though the car's been around for a while.

Other than that, does anyone have any valet parking advice besides "take a taxi"? :D I have no hotel parking alternatives other than valet service at $25 per day.

I have a yellow plastic "quick start" card that came with the car. It describes briefly how to start, stop, etc. Did you not get one?

Yep, park it and take mass transit! This will at least minimize the exposure to those less informed...

OMG...you have to stick the key in a little slot...how quaint!

I kid, my Gen II brothers and sisters, I kid.

    My bad.
    I didn't notice that he has a 2010.

All the same, when I drove the Gen3, I don't remember any difference. It's the key, isn't it? Since I never insert my key, there was no difference to me. What if you just cross out the key part in the above image?

I found it; thanks for the heads up. I'll make a copy of how to start/stop and how to shift. I even looked through my O.M., but skipped by my how to laminate.
