Does anyone know the valve timing at 75 mph for a 2004?
What RPM would this be for the ICE (stock sized tires, flat road, nominal SOC on the battery)?

rpm should be roughly 2300RPM and what you think is a normal load on the ICE is constantly varying do to surface, temp, wind, corners, even slight raises and dips that most don't perceve and this causes the load on the ICE to constantly change and the compurter varies the valve timing and rpm to compensate. What I have noticed is that if you on CC and encounter a slight rise in the road the computer feed more fuel instead of letting the RPM climb which would allow MG1 to provide more power for MG2 to hold the speed constant. Even a 400 rpm climb with lower load would more than likely use less fuel than locking a lower rpm and force feeding it more fuel. This would be on a small rise in the road say 200 feet over an eighth mile. If the car is on a bigger hill then the computer lets the ICE climb to whatever is required to maintain speed.
