Vehicle Credit Form 8910

Thanks for the update. I have been waiting for TurboTax to email me that it was available and I can continue my 1040.

 

The IRS form implies that it is for 2006 based on the wording, date codes, etc but the form itself still says 2005.

I logged in on turbotax.com, and it still says the Hybrid form isn't ready! I'm attaching a screen shot:

FWIW: I just purchased, installed, and updated the standalone version of TurboTax today, and it mostly works regarding the credit. It walks you though some misleading questions, then asks what model/year, tells you what your credit will be, figures it in, and moves on. All looks well (and correct) - however if you actually visually inspect the form, it has a "DRAFT" watermark on it (but it does say 2006). So I suspect it's not 100% safe to submit as is, but should be shortly.

Doesn't matter to me though - I'm still waiting on a schedule K-1, so I can't finish up yet regardless.

That's interesting. My Turbo Tax says "This form is not ready because we are completing final calculations to ensure accuracy". It may be because I use Windows and other users may be using a Mac.
