Very [loud] whining vacuum sound, super fast overheat, what happened?

    Just tested that and in fact the sound is present when its in IG-ON aka the car is not on but electric has been turned on.

    When the heater is on high the same ratting sound is still going and is linked with the heater being turned on and running.

    If you have it making that sound in IG-ON with the heater on and running, and you pull out the water pump relay (it's the one living in sort of its own little balcony off the top inboard corner of the underhood fusebox)?

    update:

    So it is a clogged radiator. Got the radiator replaced and the overheating as resolved.

    As of right now the heat in the passenger side of the car is still pretty weak.

    If the radiator was clogged, a good bet the heater core is also.
    You could try back flushing is with white vineger. Try a strong stream from
    a water hose first, and air pressure if you have a compressor.
    Then pour vinegar in each side and let it soak. Hopefully, doing that a few times
    will clear out the nasty sealer stuff...
    If not, you'll have to replace it.

    Everything clogged with stop-leak? 50/50 vinegar/water flush may help: test on a few chunkers first, if you can say get some from reservoir.

    I will need to call the place that did the replacements and see what they replaced. From what I remember they said that sound wasn’t happening when they were diagnosing the vehicle. But I’ll check the billing sheet to see what parts were replaced in that area.

    I had used Bars and leaks sealant. And then a month and a half I had to get another bars and leaks sealant but this time I got the one for “blown” head gaskets and then that’s when it started.

    I did do a heater core flush and the water pushed through seamlessly like there was no block in the heater core. Ran it for 5 minutes straight and nothing of any color besides water was moving out.

    Water pump was not a factor in overheating radiator was clogged.

    yes......it was the multiple cans of stop leak that were previously added, but not mentioned....which certainly would have created a different path of advice .... can't win them all...
