Has anyone found a way to access the nav to play video on it via RCA? I did this in my Acura tl with a module I purchased. I haven't seen anyone post anything here.
    Thanks!!

This one is actually easier then the one I installed in my TL. About the same price tho.. But for me it is worth it!

hi! I'm also interested in video imput for my 2010 Prius IV. It already have navigation and rear camera, so i need this unit anyway? or there is a cheaper varian for me. I have a galaxy s II i9100 phone and want to play videos from the phone to my oem prius navigation display. My Samsung mobile phone supports: - TV-out (via MHL A/V link)
    Any suggestions? Thanks!

It has a lot of wires because it has multiple inputs where you can hook up multiple devices, not just 1. I did an install in a Hummer H2 years ago. It involved opening up the head unit and disconnect the ribbon cable to the LCD screen. The video signal is fed directly into the LCD screen.

Wow u had to open the head unit?! What a pain!! Ive used nav tool in my old car.. This nav tool goes between your head unit and your cars harness.. So much easier..
Here is how it worked out on my old tl:

    Nice video bzyrice!

In regards to backup camera, what made you pick the HID light over the infrared that's normally built into many backup cameras? I'm shopping for a backup camera and researching the pros & cons. Also, from your experience using backup cameras, would you recommend a wide angle or narrow lens?

Well my backup camera was infrared.. I installed HIDs in my backup lights on my TL.. lol .. basically headlights in your reverse lights..

as for cameras.. I only have tried 1 style.. and I got it on sale.. I chose the audiovox because of clearance issues, price and OEM look.. there are others that are in the same price range, but when installed stick out like a sore thumb.. Boyos tend to be the best quality for your buck.. but like I said.. unless you have room to hide it well.. they will stick out like a sore thumb..
