    SNL decided to poke fun at the Prius' recent media hype last night with this quick little "commercial" sketch. You know where this one's going... too bad it's not very funny. Not as funny as this "sketch", at least

    Wow, my color too -- ribbon blue. There goes another $1000 in resale value. I did think it was funny though.

    then there was the VW Jetta TDI commercial with neighbor's SBM Prius that's sound like 'hooooooo..'

    Yes, SNL really blew it, "Toonces" saying in cat meowing "I can't slow this down", before driving off the cliff, would have been precious. Hey, if you can't laught at yourself, who are you gonna laugh at I don't worry about resale value, because, in my experience, it r3eally doesn't matter, if you keep the car long enough, and the "shine" has been of the Prius for a number of years. I paid $25K for my 2004 Gen2, trade in 6.5 years later @ 80K was only $8100 or so, so stop worrying about the trade in value, as it's just a car, and is going to depreciate like any other wasting asset.

    Ok, ok, it was kinda funny :) But it definitely would have been better with Toonces. I thought they missed an opportunity to make one of those classic SNL commercials.

    It will help Ford an hurt toyota. Who would have thought a couple of months ago that Toyota would be the butt of jokes on SNL and the Oscars.

    It was great. Really Funny. Right up there with Tina Fey doin' her Sarah Palin imitation. The FORD makes Hybrids Too line, priceless.
