Viewtech and Warranty

    Hello all,

    I am just wondering:

    1)if i add viewtech to my prius will it viod my warranty?

    2) how does viewtech looks after installing in the car? anyone got pictures?

    Em, which ViewTech are you talking about? The one from Coastal Tech? If so, according to their site they have it for the 2001-2003 model, not out yet for the 2004-2005 and nothing (yet) for the 2006.

    Im talking about the 2005 Viewtech from Coastal Tech. The website http://www.coastaletech.com/04prius.htm said the 2005 viewtech is in production and they're taking orders.

    will i void my warranty if i install it? how does it looks like when the kit is complete?

    I don't think it'll void your warranty, as other units like it have been installed with no problems. This one isn't out yet, so none have been installed.

    What year is your Prius?

    My car is 2005 model without 6 cd changers and Nav.
    So no viewtech for year 2005 models yet? :(

    not an oem part. can be messed up during installation. if it causes a problem, said problem won't be covered under warranty.
