Voice command system question

    Is there any way to get rid of the "After the beep, please say the command" voice? I find it really irritating and unnecessary; I'd just like to have the beep.

    I don't have my navigation manual handy, but it is in there - advanced functions, set volume, turn off voice prompts, or something similar.
