    I am used to some pretty slow acceleration, (I owned two Mazda GLCs, 0 to 60 in 14.8) but I bet you can't sell 5 seconds slower than a Prius 0 to 60 to Americans.

    I believe it may not be for sale yet, this model is a concept...
    Which in fact is good for the consumer, because carrying a TDI engine in a small car is a poor option...

    Sounds like a way for VW to amortize some of the costs for the XL1. I don't think we'll see it in the US.

    If it goes to production - I just hope it doesn't come with all the electrical gremlins that VW became so notorious for.
