Waiting to buy: How rare are Seaside Pearl / Bisque Package 1 or 3?

    I put down a deposit to buy a Prius 8+ weeks ago and still haven't received my car! Supposedly I picked a pretty uncommon combo: Package 1 or 3, Seaside Pearl exterior, Bisque interior.

    I know Toyota makes less of the 1 and 3. Why are there fewer Seaside Pearls and Bisques though? I like the color combo!

    I sent in my deposit for a 2006 Seaside Pearl just after Labor Day 2005. (I wanted to take delivery in 2006 in order to get the federal income tax credit, so it was to be a 2006 model.) I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, my dealer called in late February 2006 to say that there just hadn't been any Seaside Pearls at all coming in from Japan, so would I accept other colors? So I ended up with the Barcelona Red Metallic.

    I can't speak for Seaside Pearl but I ordered a Silver Pine Mica #3 with Bisque interior on February 15 and it just arrived on April 20. So hang in there. Hopefully soon.
