When I:eek: play my iPod touch, it automatically starts first song in alphabetical order. Then when I choose "ALBUM" or "MUSICIAN", it automatically picks the top one when I try to scroll the list.
    It is very annoying.
How to stop this auto picking program?

Or turn down the volume until you get to the artist/song you want to listen to.

    Bad design...I agree.

It is strange because iPod is very popular in Japan also.
    Thank you for your suggestion.

For me, i just keep pushing the down button as quickly as it lits up so that the first song never get the chance to play.

Remember, not sure if you know this, but you can scroll in BOTH directions (up and down). A few folks don't know that...and my wife's Acura only allows scrolling in one direction. :(

Are you plugging your iPod Touch in each time you get in the vehicle? I recommend taking an older iPod and simply leaving it in the Prius all the time. This frees up your main iPod to use elsewhere, saves you the hassle of plugging/unplugging every time you enter and exit, and best of all, when you start your car, your iPod will resume at whatever was playing when you last shut the car off. I've got an old iPhone 3G I do this with. It's a bit slower to respond than my 1st Gen Nano, but it does work even though the iPhone isn't one of the "officially" compatible devices.

Ridiculous flaw. If they give you a USB port, you'd think someone would test the ipod before rolling out a million Prii....
