Warranty info please

    I'm looking into buying a gen 2 Prius. What is the warranty on the vehicle? How long is the battery under warranty? Does the warranty change by year of manufacture? Would the warranty be valid if the car was with its 2nd or 3rd owner? Any info you have on this would be very helpful!

    10 years/100,000 miles (150,000 miles in California) on the Battery
    Yes, the Gen I Prius had a 8 year/100,000 on the battery
    Yes.
    There are also other warranty periods for the Powertrain and Hybrid system.

    Is there additional warranty that can be purchased for the battery?

    I've read in priuschat that this website (at least it is mentioned/advertised here) sells additional warranty on the vehicle. What does that cover? How long? And what is the price?

    The time to get my prius gets closer and closer and I want to be ready for the new member of the family. :D
