When I wash my car manually (using the garden hose w/ attachment) and some water hits it in the front and door handles the Prius locks and unlocks. Is this normal? It is a Package 7 2006 Toyota Prius.

It's normal. Either ignor it or turn off the SKS with the switch under the steering wheel.

All that is happening is the water fools the capacitive switches.

I hand washed mine this afternoon & had the same experience.
Lots of clicking & popping going on in the doors, & I was wondering what was going on.
    Thanks for asking.
    Later.....

You could also place your fob out of range.

I always put the fob back in my purse in the house after backing out of the garage so I won't forget it. I'm not used to having to take it out of the bottom of that black hole.
