For Valentine's Day and her birthday, bought my wife a couple of weeks ago a brand spanking new Prius II. 1st order of business: Ordered seat covers on Amazon. They fit like a glove. Full Set, Air-bag ready, & Rear Split 40/60, $45 + S/H. Already have 1,3K mi. on it. Consistently average 50+ MPG. My only question is: How the heck to I remove the back seat (for rear seat cover install)? Looks like will have to go back to dealer (80 mi drive) for advise.

Hello Harry and welcome aboard! There is a thread on here about removing the rear seat... doesn't sound too difficult. I will try to link it when I find it.

I found getting the rear seat bottom off was easiest by finding where the front 2 hooks clip into the floor frame, then inserting a strong screwdriver in there and prying upwards. Pulling by hand didn't work as well and kind of bent the seat frame.
