Trying to put the side window deflectors on the car. Followed the instructions, but found the front windows squeak at the top, where the window hits the deflector. It's not a pretty sound. The deflectors seem to be seeded correctly. Any advice?

Have you tried opening completely and closing completely 10 times after installation? What was the temperature when you performed the installation?

Yes, I did those things. The temp was in the high 60's.

I think the noise will go away once it sits in warmer weather.

Do you have them, and if so, did you experience the same thing when you first installed them?

Yeah, I have them...after 1 replacement set, it still squeak makes strange rattle sound on the passenger side, also the "Auto" window up function always protect and windows never close fully unless by close it manually. At the end...last month, I removed it. I may sell them used if anyone wants it. It will be reasonable $$.

They work fine on my 2010, no squeaking or window problems.

Wait until winter, when it's cold the window won't close, the sucker's are in the rails and the window senses pressure, takes several attempts to close when cold, not to mention the noise they make rattling around when the windows are partially open(at speed), and if the front's are being a challenge, the rears are going to be ;) comforting

I have something similar to WT but cheaper. They are also in-channel. I have not installed them yet but I am a bit concerned about the auto-close functionality affected if I install these. Perhaps, the double tape version is more suitable? I know the JDM Toyota version is installed using tape, not in-channel design.

I had them on my last car, the in-channel ones look nicer but not good for the window motors. I am going to try the stick on ones on the Prius Sun is in my face..........:censored:
