Weird "emergency update" message from dealer???

    On Sunday afternoon the Fremont Toyota dealership left a strange message on my answering machine that Toyota had some "emergency update" on the Prius and wanted my email address to forward a copy. I have called back and left a message with my email address, but so far no email. I'm wondering if anyone here has any idea what this could be about since the message left no details?

    I ordered a new Prius (Seaside Pearl, option package 7) back in December and am still waiting for it to arrive. Supposedly it will arrive with the next car shipment, whenever that is.

    Fremont is where C. Rickey Hirose, who has developed interesting ways of communicating, is based as Sales Mgr. He's a honcho in this Toyota region's apparatus.

    Maybe it's your car?
