This evening I was about to turn onto Washington State Hwy 99 (WA99 in Seattle) when my nuvi said: Turn onto Western Australia 99.

OK, I'm using the female Australian navigation voice on the nuvi, and WA *is* the state abbreviation for Western Australia, but you'd think the nuvi would know what country it was in

My wife and I cracked up laughing over this the rest of the way home.

She got us home OK. At least she didn't confuse Fremont WA (where we'd been earlier to watch the Solstice parade complete with naked cyclists B) ) with Fremantle WA (in the *other* WA)

Around here, "the other Washington" refers to Washington DC. Now we have "the other WA" as well :p
