I don't know where to start with fixing this. It seems an intermittent problem. Coincides with either heavy rain or using the climate control on max heat. Can't be sure which of those is the trigger. Car smells of wet dog and takes a good few days to dry out. It's specifically in the rear passenger footwell behind the front passenger seat. No where else is damp. Any suggestions welcome.
To be sure the wetness does not smell like coolant ethylene glycol or whatever he using your country has radiator fluid or inverter fluid Just curious It would be on the front floor first before it would be on the back also so short of the rubber strips going down the sides of the roof of the car where the bodies glued together in production again it would be a stretch for the water to get there it would have to drip come down get past the HV battery area tray run down the bottom of the back seat area to access the floor where you're talking about quite a stretch actually If you look under your car especially near the back seat where you're talking about imagine this is the driver side rear seat is the big rubber plug that's in the middle of the floor pan for some reason missing?
Well that's good then that means it's not coming from the heater cooling system but that would be generally up in the front carpet first.
