I love everything about my Prius. This is actually my second one because my first (2008) didn't have all the bells and whistles that this one (2012) does. I love the heated seats, the sunroof, the a/c remote, the high MPG of course, the little sound that it makes, the power seats and the fact that this version goes back farther than previous models for us taller drivers. I recommend Prius's to everyone I know.

I usually laugh at the losers lol. The prius has such a good kick at startup in power mode I can't help myself sometimes.

Other than that mostly I love what everyone else has mentioned, plus the DRCC I have in my package. I set the cruise once then never have to touch the brake, accelerator, or the cruise stick again on my entire 30 mile highway commute everyday. Good stuff

There really isn't much I don't like about ours. Only negative is the horrible beeping in reverse. The things I like best though are:

    Gas mileage (duh)
Interior room. We haven't missed our full size car at all
Toyota quality. You can just tell the car will last

It's a little thing, but I love filling up only once a week for my normal commute. My routine is to get up on Sunday morning, get a Sunday paper, fill up, and think, wow, I did all that driving on that. Having to fill up twice a week is a hassle and a thing of the past.

DH says that thing he likes most about it is how great the driving range is. Also, he is 6'3" and can drive it comfortably for miles on end. We also like being able to fold down both back seats down to carry bigger items. It's a great camping vehicle for us. We have a folding trailer that we bought 10 years ago, but it costs so much to drag it long distances that we've just taken to using the Prius and our tent instead during the rainless summers here in CA.

Like: mpg & leaving the keys in my pocket.

Dislikes: locking the keys in my wife's car twice since I bought the Prius.

    The terrific gas mileage (obviously)

Never feeling the urge to reciprocate a stoplight race.

The ability to never look out-of-place in both wealthy and downtrodden environments here in the San Francisco Bay Area, i.e. urban camouflage.

Funny, but I very rarely used them in any car I've owned, then again the ladies always said I have a hot butt. :p

I love the "urban camouflage," too!! It's nice to see wealthy people driving a more...pedestrian car. Not that the Prius is pedestrian at all :). I see so many neighborhoods with $100k+ cars in the driveways that also have Priuses. Very cool, indeed :).

I really love getting over 50 MPG now that I've really figured how how to drive the car. Extremely roomy and I really love having a hatchback. So much more convenient than a regular sedan. I also love how engaging and relaxing it is to drive. <3 lol

I love sitting in that school pickup line of cars with heat, or AC, and the radio... and the car not running. :)

DH has had mine for 2 days now, wants it tomorrow, I'm having withdrawals and looking longlingly at other Prii on the road, especially the red ones, they remind me of my long lost baby....not that the 2001 Honda Accord isn't a good car. It's got 235K on it and runs like a champ, mechanic told us the compression was perfect. Probably go 350k to 400k with no problems. No pri-pri for me tomorrow. I am so sad. I miss the USB connection, have to use a cassette adapter in the Honda. Well, I'm done whining. I feel so spoiled.

It turns off at stops or at low speeds with enough battery power and if the engine is warmed up.
    Love That.

I remember owning a new vehicle where people would exclaim how great it was because it was so quiet at a stop..."It's like the engine isn't running"....the usual quote. Unfortunately with the passage of years, the quietness of the engine at stops usually deteriorated...it would just get measurable louder at idle. This won't happen with The Prius.

HSD avoids idling as much as possible. So it sounds like the engine isn't running...because the engine isn't running.
Quietest car I've ever owned and the fossil fuels aren't being burned as I inch through a drive thru, or sit at a stop light. And.....you gotta love a vehicle that allows you to "enjoy" a traffic jam.

You know what is also awesome about the HSD?

The way it "slips into gear" (in actuality, it is perpetually engaged) with infinite smoothness (again, because it's always engaged). Makes complicated parking jobs and three-point turns, with attendant drive-reverse-drive shift sequences incredibly pro once you grasp the timing of when each shift is possible, almost on par with what one can do with a manual.

Also makes dropping in and out of neutral (coasting, hypermiling) smoother than what I have ever experienced with an automatic.
