I am the proud new owner of a Prius, but I have no clue what the actual name of the color, or what option package for that matter, that I have.

On Autotrader, the color was listed as "light green", but on the sticker it said "gray". I have looked at color options for 2005 and it does not appear that Magnetic Gray" was available at that time, but neither Tideland Pearl or Millennium Silver appear to match the color I have.

As far as the options package go, things seem pretty basic. I know that I do not have GPS or JBL, no leather and nothing else, so I am assuming it is most likely whatever the lowest package is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's probably Tideland...if there's a greenish hue it is....it's a fascinating color as it changes dramatically depending upon the quaility and direction of the light.

I'll second the speculation that it's probably Tideland Pearl, which is what most cool Prius owners drive :p
A quick Google search of "Tideland Pearl" brings up THIS pic, which might look familiar to somebody on this board.

"Light Green" could also mean Silver Pine Mica, but it's hard to mistake that as gray.

Hope that helps. Also, dealer should be able to tell equipment from VIN.

It's defintely Tideland Pearl, as I too recently bought a 2005, and thought it was Magnetic Grey, only to find out that Magnetic didnt come out until 2006. Silver Pine Mica wasn't out in 2005 either.

Thanks, guys! Bohous, that picture you linked to is EXACTLY what mine looks like!

The first link, that is... The Tideland Pearl.

And thank you, Priusincc, I do believe that mine is Package 1.

Right on BobC, in my mind it is green... That is the whole reason why I picked the one I got... oh and the fact that I could afford it!

If the photo is accurate, it looks more like Seaside Pearl to me.

The Tideland Pearl looks a lot grayer than that, and the green is somewhat subtle. At least in the one I looked at up close.

That is not a package #1. If you have smartkey entry and start it's got to be a #3 or #4. I think the garage door opener and smart key together will help you determine the package. I see it also has fog lights. Definately NOT a package #1. Are the headlights the HID ones? If so, it's a #6.

Does it have a six disc changer for the JBL? If it does....you have a #6.

Granted. It doesn't look like your Seaside Pearl, but I certainly don't see any green in it. It still looks bluer than green to me. Maybe it's just the lighting. Tideland's photos are what I've visualized for Tideland Pearl. That doesn't jive with the previous photo. I have a friend with a Seaside Pearl, and it was one of my two first choices for color. The other is what I have. Driftwood Pearl.
