What direction are the battery blocks numbered 2010 Prius?

Here's a photo of the first Gen3 pack I put numbers on. Turned out later I found out my numbers were backwards... So as long as you do it the opposite way I did it, you'll be fine: Dr. Prius Packs Less Than A Year Away? | PriusChat

Yes... Or at least that's what Dr. Prius told me in an email... An then I later confirmed through a wiring diagram for where negative terminal connects.

 

Gen2 - block 1 opposite side of ecu
Gen3 - block 1 same side of ecu

The ECU switched ends between Gen 2 and Gen 3, so I guess the block direction didn't, really.

 

If ya'll do a deep dive into PriusChat threads you'll notice that it has been a chronic source of confusion for a long time...

 

Civilization will no longer function when we lack the ability to think critically...
