What do you like the best about your prius...

Synergy ... I'm right with you in terms of the 5 doors! It really makes the auto more practical. I hope that this leads to more hatchbacks in the states.

I think that when hatchbacks first came to our shores, they were generally included on cheaper autos. The collective American market is still under this illusion. Obviously, Europe is flush with hatchbacks due to the added functionality.

Hatchback. I've owned nothing but hatchbacks and wagons since 1975.

Good looks. It's the best looking hatchback ever.

 

SKS, yes I know that other cars also have smart keys, but this is the first one I've had.

 

It's so cute that the interior lights come on when you approach the driver's or passenger door with SKS. Jerry

 

Prius envy!!

 

I didn't know it did this!! Cool. I set all my interior lights to the off position(maybe that's why). Will have to check that out.

Last week I showed the alarm repair guys at the Post Office how the Prius unlocked the doors without touching the fob. Later they asked if it was biometrics or some high tech method. Had to tell them it was just a proximity sensor.

Yes, you can dazzle your friends by showing them your Prius likes you by lighting up when you're near. Best Prius gag around. Have fun. Jerry

 

I don't have my Prius yet (waiting list...) but rented one for four days and I, too, love the keyless entry. I'm a girl... keys get lost in my handbag & I hate fiddling for 'em.

 

The CVT. I love the fact there's no ka-chunk when the transmission shifts.

3. Great sound system with Sirius radio
4. Hatchback holds my bicycle
5. Ease of oil changes at 5k mi
6. Expanse of glass (field of view)
7. Form follows function (great design)

 

..the fact that it is MINE. ALL MINE...!!

bluetooth. no more getting my phone from my pocket with my seatbelt fastened and holding the phone while driving.

What do I like most about my Prius?

That it is a reality and can be purchased by many people around the world. It is not just a promotional piece that sits on some artists or designers pin-up board, or a trailer queen from the International Auto Show but which no consumer will ever be able to purchase.

I like the Prius because it is real and it serves me in nearly every capacity I require of it.

 

I love the fact that when I'm in a drive up ATM, a restaruant drive through.. slowly cruising through my city or at a light, THERE IS NO GAS MOTOR RUNNING!
