What Headlight Auto Turn-off?

    I see that the Gen II had these issues so I must be missing something awesome that explains why the car doesn't have Headlight auto-on and auto-off. If this car is their highest tech Prius package, why aren't running lights on it?

    See this thread for three pages of discussion on this topic. It works just fine the way it's supposed to. You might need to see your dealer to set the time interval for auto-off.

    Both Gen 2 and Gen 3 have AUTO-OFF headlights in the U.S.

    The Gen 2 one is tied to the driver's door (open it and it immediately turns off). The Gen 3 has a timer on it (30 sec) and it's configurable.
