What is the function of this sensor?

    I have Prius 2017 S Safety Plus. Do u know what is the function of this sensor? Do u have this sensor?

    It's likely related to something in Japan. Could be electronic toll reader or it could be the ITS (Integrated Transportation System).

    In some trims there's a combination rain/humidity sensor that goes roughly there. (I'm not positive that's what yours is, but it could be.)

    There are trims with automatic rain-sensing wipers, and trims that do not have those but still have the sensor, for cabin humidity.

    Isn't the cabin humidity sensor in the lower dashboard? (the small 3 slats usually under the POWER button and below the steering wheel height)

    In Gen 2 it was. Then Gen 3 didn't have a humidity sensor, and Gen 4 combined it with the windshield rain sensor.
